Yom HaZikaron and Yom Ha’Atzmaut

Yom HaZikaron, or Israel’s Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Acts of Terrorism, is always an emotional and heavy day. And at sunset, Israel makes the meaningful/jarring/unique shift to Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day.

The two days are obviously interconnected and accompany the entire spectrum of feelings and memories.

If you’re looking for some perspectives and experiences on these national days, we hope the below stories can be of service.
