Sheila Lambert

Sheila is a retired corporate executive with extensive experience in Human Resources and General Management, both at the Dun and Bradstreet Corporation and Moody’s Investors Service. Sheila’s volunteer commitments focus on education, Jewish continuity and education, women’s issues and the economically disadvantaged. She is a long-time board member, past president and current chair emeritus of the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. She sits on the advisory committees of the David H. Sonabend Center for Israel, named for her father, and the Lambert Center for Arts and Ideas, which her family named.

Sheila has led, and been a member of, many boards including ‘Bottomless Closet,’ an organization for disadvantaged women which she founded, and ‘Project Kesher,’ where she is board chair. She is a former vice chair of the board of governors of Hebrew Union College and is a member of the advisory board for the school of communications at Northwestern University.
